International - Translating

International - Translating

Postby Wayne.Veilleux » Wed Mar 25, 2009 3:48 pm

Hi,

This is my first post on this OSA forum. I did a few search and I didn't find anything about "International" and "Translating". Is there any plan to translate Librairy and Definition ? If not, and if it is part of the OSA plan, I could probably be involve in French translation. Any comments ?

Hi Wayne,

You pick up a very good point. Unfortunately there has not been any work done in this direction.
At the moment a good part of the visitors on the OSA site come from the US, UK, Canady (english speaking part ;-) and Australia.
The reason why there are so little visitors from countries like France, Germany, China and Japan is certainly that we have not yet established an internationalization.

I think we are very open to any kind of contribution and if you would like to contribute translations of the definitions, the landscape or other library parts you are most welcome.

Technically speaking we would then need to find a way to create multiple language versions of each page... surely we will find a Joomla module for that...:-)

Cheers
